無數的生靈受驚，紛紛起身。
智慧驅遣，欲望指使，心機變得深重，
像狗一樣苟且，像蒼蠅一樣鑽營，希望使人墮落。
沉沉的夜色再次退去，東方亮起，
身體伏在氈毯上，機心暫時止息。
昏昧中萬物千差萬別，卻都有默契，
困窘與顯達，對你而言，難道是智慧或道理能決定的嗎？

Countless spirits, startled, rise from their repose.
Wisdom drives, desire commands, the heart's schemes grow vast,
Like dogs and flies they hustle, hoping men will fall.

Body crouched on mat and rug, schemes briefly cease.
All myriad beings, dim and vast, share a silent accord,
Poverty or success—to you, is this a matter of wit or reason?
