池中鶴四散飛離，不曾告別。
青天漫漫，碧水深深，
誰知（它們）飛向哪座風雪中的山？
相隔萬里，雖然音容猶在，
兩顆心終究生死與共。
池邊的巢已破，松樹已死，
樹梢上年年有烏鴉生子。

The master gone, the pond dries up,
The pond cranes scatter without farewell.
Under the vast blue sky, over the deep green water,
Who knows to which mountain, in wind and snow, they fly?
Though echoes and shadows linger over ten thousand miles,
Two hearts remain one in life and death.
The nest by the pond is broken, the pine tree dead,
Year after year, crows raise their young on the treetop.
