In this world, among lazy people,
Two out of five are like this.
Typically wearing a straw coat,
Shoulders forming a 'mountain' shape.
Speaking with a haughty tone,
Pretending to be an official's son.
His thatched hut has no bed,
No felt mat, nor quilt.
When others are settled in sleep,
He sleeps sprawled till sunset.
Others leave at the fifth watch,
He won't rise till the sun is high.
The court has thousands of men,
Ministers together pass time in play.
Eating a bowl of vegetable porridge,
Idly standing in the street.
If he talks with someone,
He wildly discusses affairs of state.
He calls his daughter a household slave,
Treats his son like a servant.
His wife goes about naked,
Usually starving nearly to death.
A bunch of sick, scabby thieves,
Yet they bring shame upon their parents.
The sun and moon show great mercy,
But do not shine upon the five heinous sinners.
