楚地客子不再穿奇服，
吳地歌女停下了船歌。
涉過江水也無物可寄，
這深深的幽恨究竟該如何？

sparse and empty, the green lotus leaves.
Fading scent follows the evening rain,
withered stamens fall into the cold waves.
The Chu traveler doffs his exotic attire,
the Wu maiden stops her boating song.

how, in the end, shall this hidden regret be?
