地處幽深孤高，四周沒有鄰居，
只有白雲和明月相互親近。
海上日出時，山峯最先破曉，
世間寒意已輕，山谷卻未回春。
窗前逼近野溪，聽見鶴的鳴叫，
樹林連通村路，看見砍柴的人。
此時只有雷居士（詩人自指或友人），
不厭煩竹轎頻繁地來去。

White clouds and bright moon keep each other company.
From the sea, sunrise; the mountain knows dawn first,
In the world, chill is light, but the valley not yet spring.
Window near wild stream, I hear cranes calling,

At this moment, only the recluse Lei remains,
Never tired of frequent comings and goings in his bamboo sedan.
