佛塔高聳於寺院之中，
我登臨其上，在碧海之西。
不知人的思緒能達多遠，
只漸漸覺得飛鳥變低。
稍稍與雲霞接近，
仿佛能與日月齊平。
遷升高位並未得償所願，
空有腳踏雲梯的念想。

The pagoda temple rises from the monastery,
I climb it, west of the blue sea.
Unaware how far human thoughts can reach,
I gradually feel the birds fly low.
Drawing somewhat near to clouds and mist,
As if level with the sun and moon.
My move to a lofty perch brings no satisfaction,
In vain I wish to tread the cloud ladder.
