紅蓮與綠水，彷彿又回到了當初的興盛，
青草與黃茅，值得細細品談論說。
陡然地，炎熱的氛圍被日月之光驅散，
坐在這裡，清爽之氣充滿了天地乾坤。
並非為了朝廷恩賜才想歸隱田園——
只怕要煩勞你，破費酒樽。

How few have paused to knock upon my rustic gate.
Red lotuses and green waters revive the scene of old,
Green grass and yellow thatch invite a detailed debate.
Suddenly, the summer's heat gives way to sun and moon's clear light,
Seated here, a brisk air fills the cosmos, vast and great.
Not for a court's favor do I wish to return to fields—
I only fear to trouble you, and drain your wine jar's freight.
