清霜微月的夜晚，
古塘的西邊鋪滿紅葉。
野外的港汊沿著村落彎曲延伸；
秋雲低垂，仿佛與樹梢相接。
捕蟹的燈火寒光映照水面；
獵野鴨的火把光亮遠遠侵入溪流。
我未能實踐追隨陸龜蒙那般隱逸的約定；
詩寫成了，心意卻陷入一片迷惘。

In the clear frost and faint moonlight of night,
By the ancient pond's west, red leaves lie still.
A rustic harbor winds along the village bend;
Autumn clouds descend, touching the treetops low.
Crab-catching lanterns cast a cold gleam on the water;
Duck-hunters' fires intrude far into the creek.
I have not yet fulfilled my pledge to follow nature;
The poem done, my thoughts are lost in reverie.
