滿懷愁緒，聽聞這連日不停的霖雨。
巷中的泥濘妨礙了馬匹前行。
庭院草叢裡，聚集著蟋蟀的鳴叫聲。
俸祿微薄，幾乎要讓我飢餓而死。
詩風過於清雅，使得我身形消瘦。
終究不能忘卻俸祿的供養，
寫下這篇賦，愧對這閒適的情懷。

Sorrowful, I hear the rain that has lasted for days.
Mud in the lane hinders the horse's hoof.
In the courtyard grass, crickets gather their cries.
My meager salary threatens to starve me to death.
My poems, too pure, have made me gaunt and thin.
Unable to forget the salary that sustains me,
I write this rhapsody, ashamed of my idle sentiments.
