獨坐於空寂寒涼之中，庭院如美玉般瑩潔，
環顧四方，所見皆是白茫茫的天空。
千重林木沒有塵俗的聲響，
唯有一片樹葉時而發出清脆的琤然之聲。
高高的竹枝上飛霜飄散，
冰冷的池水仿佛熔化了流動的鉛液。
月亮因虛靜而格外明亮，
人心因虛靜而玄妙深邃。
心性的光芒照射著月華的色彩，
炯炯有神，直透九重深淵。
高聲吟誦撼動了古老的桂樹，
驚起了正在安眠的秋兔。

Sitting in the empty cold, the courtyard jade aglow,
All four directions reach into a sky of white.
A thousand woods, no vulgar sound, in quietness they grow,
A single leaf at times goes 'cling', breaking the night.
Tall bamboos scatter flying frost, a sight to hold,
The chilly pool melts flowing lead, a mirror cold.
The moon, through emptiness, shines with a brighter light,
The heart, through emptiness, gains insight deep and old.
The heart's light shoots through moonbeams, a penetrating ray,
Piercing through the Nine Abysses, holding sway.
A loud chant shakes the aged cassia tree with might,
Startling the autumn hare awake from its sleep's plight.
