長記兒童膝下時，便聞山谷澹巖詩。

cháng jì ér tóng xī xià shí， biàn wén shān gǔ dàn yán shī。

ㄔㄤˊ ㄐㄧˋ ㄦˊ ㄊㄨㄥˊ ㄒㄧㄒㄧㄚˋ ㄕˊ，ㄅㄧㄢˋ ㄨㄣˊ ㄕㄢㄍㄨˇ ㄉㄢˋ ㄧㄢˊ ㄕ。

江湖老矣瀟湘過，始得摩挲石罅碑。

jiāng hú lǎo yǐ xiāo xiāng guò， shǐ dé mō suō shí xià bēi。

ㄐㄧㄤㄏㄨˊ ㄌㄠˇ ㄧˇ ㄒㄧㄠㄒㄧㄤㄍㄨㄛˋ，ㄕˇ ㄉㄜˊ ㄇㄛㄙㄨㄛㄕˊ ㄒㄧㄚˋ ㄅㄟ。

我依然記得童年時依偎在父母膝下的日子，

那時便聽說了關於山谷中澹岩的詩篇。

如今，我年華老去，漂泊經過瀟湘的江湖之地，

才得以親手撫摸這嵌在石縫中的碑刻。

I still recall the days when I was a child at my parents' knees,

And heard of the poems about the tranquil cliffs in the mountain valleys.

Now, aged, I wander past the rivers and lakes of the Xiao-Xiang region,

And finally get to trace with my fingers the stele in the rocky crevice.

童年記憶成爲文化認同的起點，連接歷史與個體認知。

追憶童年聽聞山谷詩篇，表達對先賢詩藝的追慕與傳承。

本詩為七言絕句，押平聲韻。

趙立，其生卒年、籍貫及活躍時期均不詳，在現存古代文學史料中記載極少。其作品《山行》、《飛狐》、《山谷碑》等亦未見廣泛流傳，在文學史上屬於較爲冷門的文人。
