青山環抱迴轉，碧水相連交融。
半空中的梅雨使窗前的景色變得昏暗，
一葉扁舟劃開浮萍間的微風，衝破暮靄煙嵐。
酒入愁腸時，哪會察覺自己已醉？
詩逢佳客之際，又何必計較篇章是否工整。
只知道自己身在將軍府邸之中，
卻夢見江南的景象，飄落在枕邊。

Blue hills embrace and turn, where waters join and merge.
Mid-air, the mume rain dims the color of my window pane,
A single oar, through duckweed breeze, parts the dusk's smoky skein.
When sorrow comes with wine, who notices the drunken plight?
When verses meet fine guests, we care not if the lines are right.
I only know I'm in the general's mansion, confined,
Yet dream of lands south of the river, fallen by my pillow-side.
