聽說小巾車,形模似竹輿。
雙輪氈裹去,三壁帽開舒。
僮矮行攜硯,鬟嬌坐奉書。
岢峩回徑處,轣{車錄}度橋初。
鶴引青莎軟,鶑看翠柳疎。
袖爐香正噴,背榼酒多儲。
過愛涼軒敞,停因燕館虛。
直須教畫看,全似出塵居。
緩駕終調鹿,忙牽莫命馿。
只緣心蕩蕩,自到境如如。
剩有真堪寫,時無憤可攄。
尚慙銷粟帛,何事免繰鋤。
命駟邀朋客,籠鵝謝裡閭。

三面車壁像帽子般開合舒展。
僮僕矮小,行走時攜帶著硯臺,
鬟女嬌美,坐著奉上書卷。
在巍峨曲折的山徑迴轉處,
車輪轆轆初次度過橋樑。
白鶴引路,踏著柔軟的綠莎草,
黃鶯觀賞著疏朗的翠柳。
袖爐中的香氣正噴發,
揹著的酒榼裡儲存了許多美酒。
經過時喜愛涼軒的寬敞,
停駐是因為燕館的空寂。
真應該讓人畫下來觀賞,
完全像超脫塵世的居所。
緩駕最終調教鹿車,
忙碌時不要命令驢子快走。
只因為內心坦蕩自在,
自然到達瞭如如不動的境界。
尚有許多真趣值得抒寫,
當下卻沒有憤懣可以傾吐。
仍然慚愧消耗著糧帛,
為何能免去耕織的勞苦?
命駕四馬之車邀請朋友賓客,
以籠鵝之禮答謝鄉里。

I've heard of the small canopied carriage,
Its shape resembles a bamboo sedan.
Its two wheels roll forth wrapped in felt,
Three walls open up like a cap, wide and grand.
A short lad carries an inkstone as he walks,
A charming maid sits offering books in hand.
Where winding paths twist through lofty peaks,
The carriage rumbles across the bridge at first stand.
Cranes lead on soft green sedge,
Orioles gaze at sparse willows, verdant and vast.
Incense from sleeve-burners drifts in spray,
Wine stored in back-flasks is plentiful and amassed.
Passing, I love the cool pavilion's openness,
Halting because the swallow lodge is empty at last.
It truly must be painted for viewing,
So like a dwelling beyond worldly dust cast.
A gentle drive ends with tuning a deer,
In haste, don't command the donkey to go fast.
Only because my heart is free and untroubled,
I naturally reach a realm serene and steadfast.
There's much truly worth writing,
Though now no indignation to vent or outlast.
Still ashamed of consuming grain and silk,
Why avoid the tasks of plough and reel, I ask?
I summon friends with a team of four,
Thank the village with a caged goose, a gracious task.
The Screen Star dream of days before,
Was not in vain, this ode to return, I bask.
