萬重湖山坐落在煙水之濱，
朱紅的大門和彩繪的戟閒置於松竹之間。
登臨此地，無需踏足紅塵俗世的道路；
安居於燕寢，仿佛長居在紫府仙境的春天裡。
白日寧靜，真想駕馭天風外出遨遊；
夜晚寒冷，恍惚覺得自己是月宮中的身影。
我慚愧自己白髮蒼蒼方才心懷印綬（指爲官），
卻還能得以在蓬萊仙境般的地方作主人。

Layers of lakes and hills by misty waters lie,
Red gates, painted halberds, amid pines and bamboos stand idly by.
To climb these heights, no dusty worldly path I tread;
In my quiet chamber, I dwell as in the purple mansion's eternal spring instead.
In daytime stillness, I'd ride the wind beyond the skies;
In night's chill, I wonder if I'm the moon's own self in disguise.
I'm ashamed that, white-haired, I still cling to official attire,
Yet I'm blessed to be master of this Penglai, my heart's desire.
