秋水中的荷花試著穿上清晨的妝容，
半面軒窗外，微雨灑在鴛鴦身上。
細腰正缺少金餅作為酬謝，
奮飛的翅膀怎能忍心離開玉梁？
鬢髮烏黑、釵飾橫斜，人兒倚在窗邊，
井繩低垂，北斗星轉動，月光漸漸侵入床榻。
無情的花影隨著雲朵來去，
都化作滿天風露，一片寒涼。

The lotus on autumn waters tries her morning attire;
A light rain sprinkles the mandarin ducks by the half-railing.
Her slender waist lacks the golden cake as a reward;
How could the flapping wings bear to leave the jade beam?
With hair dark and hairpin askew, she leans by the window;
The rope lowers, the Dipper turns, the moonlight invades the bed.
The heartless flower shadows come and go with the clouds,
All turning into a skyful of wind and dew, so cold.
