當年博望侯張騫奏報邊塞功勳，
也曾攜回奇異的種子，與苜蓿一同傳入。
提取馬乳何必煩勞挏馬令官，
任葡萄藤蔓生長，姑且取悅那好龍的葉公。
頗為憐惜漢家離宮仍存於此地，
卻不許涼州的酒甕空空如也。
回纇如今又重新被餵養肉食，
葡萄清蔭滿目，遍佈關中。

Exotic seeds he brought back, alfalfa among them.

I pity the Han palaces still standing in this land,
Yet the Liangzhou wine jars are not allowed to be empty.
The Uighurs now are fed meat once again,
Their lush shade spreads as far as eye can see, filling the passes.
