斜陽照著小園裡殘存的花枝，
遠隔千里，傷春的情意依然未曾忘懷。
金谷園早已空寂，新的步障不復存在，
馬嵬坡只能徒然見到舊日的香囊。
黃鶯飛來，仿佛凝結著啼鸞的哀怨；
蝴蝶飛散，應知那如夢幻般狂亂的雨意。
清雅的賞玩又變成經年的離別，
只能吟唱團扇之歌來寄託我輾轉的情腸。

The slanting sun shines on fading blooms in the small garden,
A thousand miles away, the sorrow of spring remains unforgotten.
The Golden Valley is now empty, its new screens all gone;
At Mawei, only the old perfume pouch is seen in vain.
Orioles come as if knotting the lament of a crying phoenix;
Butterflies scatter, knowing well the madness of dreamlike rain.
Our pure appreciation has turned into a year-long parting again,
I can but sing the 'Round Fan' song to ease my heart's pain.
