The prophetic crow knows too much, long dwelling in the courtyard tree.
The master pities the crow's spirit, leaving food to show benevolence.
The crow too feels the master's grace, cawing and moving its beak.
Knowing well the master tires of its voice, hoping the master makes plans early.
Great loyalty easily invites punishment, supreme insight becomes an ill omen.
A broken wing will come in time, holding its tongue brings deep shame.
In the end, it must crow for its master, but who will feed it meat and broth?
