梅雨知曉時節而降臨，
農家是多麼的歡喜。
堆積柴薪，蠶兒在蠶箔下安歇；
鋤理水田，將稻秧分株插植。
綠色的是筍，已長成竹子；
黃色的小麥沒有因蟲害而損毀。
整個春天都曾飽嘗苦旱，
這三日的雨水並不算多。

How great the farmers' joy, one can discern.
Firewood's piled high, silkworms rest on their trays;
Rice fields are hoed, seedlings set in new arrays.

All spring we've suffered bitter drought's cruel reign,
Three days of rain are not too much to gain.
