向北眺望中原，只見慘澹的烽煙；
但這多景樓頭的風光景物，依然如故。
後來的人把欄杆拍打得破碎；
往昔卻輕易地讓人的眼界變得偏狹。
江水撼動著金山和焦山，聲響也帶著怒意；
雲霞連接著楚地和泗水，氣勢仍然完整雄渾。
我豪壯的情懷暫且託付給生前的酒；
千古英雄的墳墓，都靜臥在道路旁邊。

Yet here atop the tower, the view remains for me.
Later hands have shattered the railings, piece by piece;
While past days lightly skewed the vision's fair release.
The waters pound Gold and Jiao Isles with angry roar;

My soaring spirit I entrust to wine in life;
By the roadside lie heroes' tombs, through ages rife.
