竹林遍佈園林，溪水漲滿溝渠，
在這幽深的地方，我安然度過春秋。
座席之中不能缺少像侯喜那樣的知音，
歌唱之處又何須有莫愁那樣的歌女相伴。
別墅的簾櫳間，燕子因風而翻飛；
遠處的村莊裡，農人披蓑戴笠在雨中耕田。
年老之後，應對事物依然強健有力，
多少壯年時的抱負，都已如夢幻般休止。

Bamboos fill the garden, streams fill the moat,
In this secluded place, I pass the seasons by.
Among my guests, a man of wit must not be forgot;
Where songs arise, no need for a sorrowful sigh.
At the country lodge, wind flutters swallows by the screen;

Though old, I still respond to things with vigor keen—
