黃鸝百般啼叫，宿夜的煙霧稀疏，
靠近城郭踏春，我獨自停下馬車。
在田壟上勸勉農耕，姑且詢問農事，
在海棠樹蔭下聽理訴訟，暫且躊躇。
遠處林間桑葉已盡，蠶兒結成繭，
野水上浮萍散開，水獺正追逐游魚。
幾處路旁低垂著苦澀的李子，
遊人不去摘取，心意究竟如何？

Near town, I halt my spring-outing cabriolet.
On ridges, urging farming, I inquire with ease,
Under pear-tree shade, pausing to hear pleas.
Mulberries gone in distant woods, silkworms cocoon,
On wild waters, duckweed parts, otters chase fish soon.
By roadside, bitter plums hang low in several places,
Why do passersby not pluck them, leaving no traces?
