靈巧的茶芽呈現出雀舌般的形狀，
這是北苑在穀雨前採摘的春茶。
它作為貢品，比所有夏產都更早進獻，
它的甘甜也分賜給了身邊的近臣。
越窯的茶盞依然借重著它的碧綠茶湯，
蒙頂山的茶豈敢與這新茶爭鋒？
陸羽的《茶經》雖然留存於世，
可我這般淺薄，終究未能領悟茶的真諦。

Lu Yu's Classic of Tea remains on the shelf,
Alas, my humble grasp falls short of the true itself.
