在揚州解纜啓航時，夕陽正要西下。
船過覆盎時，晨光已經照亮了天空。
河流兩岸的漁屋都用荻草編成。
背對太陽的船篷上還積滿了白霜。
城外和城內，四通八達都是水路。
堤壩的南邊和北邊，有萬條垂楊低垂。
這一州之地雖小如斗，請您不要見笑。
因爲國士秦觀（秦郎）的故鄉就在這裡。

Passing Fuan, I sailed through the night till morning light did shine.
Along both banks, the fishermen's huts are thatched with reeds so fine.

South and north of the dikes, countless weeping willows align.
Don't laugh at this tiny prefecture, a mere dot in design.
For here was the homeland of Qin Guan, a talent so divine.
