白話文翻譯
田夫拋擲秧苗，田婦在田間接住，
小兒拔取秧苗，大兒彎腰插種。
斗笠是頭盔，蓑衣是鎧甲，
雨水從頭頂一直淋溼到肩胛。
招呼他們吃早飯，歇息片刻，
他們低頭彎腰勞作，只是不應答。
秧根尚未扎牢，栽種還未完畢，
要照看好那些小鵝與小鴨。

The farmer tosses seedlings, his wife catches them in the field,
The young child pulls up shoots, the elder plants them row by row.
Their bamboo hats are helmets, their straw cloaks armor to wield,
The rain soaks from head to shoulder in the watery meadow.
I call them to take breakfast and rest a little while,
But bending low, they do not answer, lost in toil and guile.
The roots are not yet firm, the planting is not fully done,
Take care of goslings and ducklings, lest they spoil the work begun.
