古往今來，春天逝去的不知有多少。
人無法留住春天，頭髮卻早早地白了。
你想要留住春天的心思，我是明白的；
因此爲你再寫一首《留春詩》。
要留住春天，不能只留住盛開的花朵；
花朵一旦凋零，春風也會隨之離去。
哪裡比得上芝蘭，它的芳香永不衰竭，
讓這亭下長久地像二三月般美好。

Through all the ages, how many springs have come and gone?
Man cannot keep the spring, and early turns his hair to frost.
If you desire to hold the spring, your heart is understood;
For you, I'll write another poem, 'Keeping Spring in the Wood'.
To keep the spring, don't just detain the flowers in their bloom;
When flowers fade, the vernal breeze will follow them to doom.
Why not like orchids, whose sweet fragrance never seems to cease,
Beneath this arbor, keep the charm of March and April's peace?
