自從那位幽居的人離去後，
明月又來過多少回呢？
鐘乳石洞中仿佛有龍蛇奔走，
斷崖處激盪著瓊玉般的水花。
怎樣才能借得一塊磐石，
讓我漂浮起我那瘤木製成的酒杯。

I dig a pond to await the bright moon;
The pond is done, the moon comes of its own.
Since the recluse has gone away,
How many times has the bright moon come?
From the stalactite cave, dragons and serpents dart;
Down the broken cliff, jade-like waters dash.

And float my gnarled-wood cup upon the stream.
