厭倦地夜飲，忘記了夜已深沉；
客人不告辭，因為主人情意真。
僮僕碰到屏風，做起化蝶的夢；
姬姜按著笛子，吹出蟬鳴般的聲音。
月亮好像有所期待，緩緩前行；
風不帶怒氣，吹得細細又清新。
人生如浮萍分散，怎能預料？
但願千里共此嬋娟，締結盟約永存心。

Weary, we drink deep into the night, forgetting how late it's grown;
The guest does not decline to leave, for the host's affection is shown.
The servant, brushing the screen, dreams of butterflies in flight;
The fair maiden, pressing the flute, makes a cicada's song take flight.
The moon, as if waiting for something, moves slowly across the sky;
The wind, bearing no grudge, blows gently, pure and dry.
Like duckweed scattered, life's course is hard to foresee;
Yet over a thousand miles, we share this moon's beauty, you and me.
