這座山確實幽深寂靜，
它背陰的山崖積聚著蒼翠之色。
何必需要很多的水和石頭呢？
它已然具備了千岩萬壑的意趣。
誰能知道在這靠近人煙的地方，
從早到晚都蘊含著美好的氣息？
池水的倒影在微風中搖曳，
林間的光線在新晴後顯得淡雅。
我以手支頤，倚靠著芬芳的草地，
心滿意足，足以忘卻世間俗事。
雖然還不能像陶淵明那樣歸隱，
姑且就把這裡當作閒居之地吧。

This mountain is truly secluded and still,
Its shaded cliffs store up a deep, dark green.
Why need many waters and rocks at all?
It already holds the charm of a thousand crags.
Who would know that near the human world,
Morning and evening it holds a fine, fresh air?
The pond's reflection sways in a gentle breeze,
The forest's light is pale in the new-cleared sky.
Leaning my cheek on hand, I rest on fragrant grass,
Content enough to forget worldly affairs.
Not yet able to return to my old home,
I'll make this a place for my idle dwelling.
