今夜雨水必須暢快降臨。
雲氣昏暗卻還在飄散，
雷聲隱約漸漸變得隆隆。
池塘里的魚兒先得以存活，
它們的歡喜與我相同。

Our prayers for rain have lasted into summer's day.
For days on end, all people lived in dread;
Tonight, the rain must break through overhead.
The gloomy clouds disperse, yet linger near;
The muffled thunder grows, distinct and clear.
The pond fish are the first to gain new breath;
Their joy, I feel, rescues me from this death.
