深秋時節，兩鬢已感受到時光的寒霜。
夜晚投宿在農家借住，
清晨依託漁家的爐竈做飯充飢。
在燈前與自己的身影結爲伴侶，分外投契，
一生的境遇都寄托在行囊里的詩稿中。
遙遙憐惜故鄉園中的菊花，
想必荒草早已掩沒了覆霜的枝條。

Long have I journeyed on the road, a stranger's way,
Autumn deepens, and my temples know its frosty sway.
To a farmer's house at night I come to rest my head,
By a fisherman's stove at dawn my morning meal is spread.
In lamplight's glow, a bond with shadows I have found,
My life's whole tale, in poems in my pouch, is bound.
Far off, I grieve for chrysanthemums in my old garden's ground,
