近年來，我任憑命運安排，學著悠閒自在，
喜愛飲酒，還如同醉僧李一般。
痛飲本無緣故，只因客人到來，
為尋訪奇景，不惜繞村而行。
屋簷間，燕雀的鳴叫聲清新悅耳，
門外，池塘的春水正在上漲。
清晨起來，臨窗而坐，無事可做，
捲起書卷，向南眺望，看見高聳的山稜。

In recent years, I let fate guide, learning carefree ease,
Loving wine, I'm like the drunken monk Li as I please.
Drinking deeply without cause, just because a guest arrives,
Seeking rare moments, I spare no pains to roam round village lives.
Between the eaves, swallows and sparrows sing new tunes so fine,
Outside the gate, the pond's spring waters rise and shine.
At dawn I sit by the window, with nothing to attend,
Rolling up the book, I gaze south and see the lofty ridge extend.
