山月斜斜地照進帳中，

蕭蕭的碧色煙靄歸於寂靜，
炯炯的白色間隙透著清涼。
環境寂靜，萬般塵緣都停息，
心已如死灰，千種思慮消亡。
無緣無故，報曉的鳥兒催來了曙光，
究竟爲何，我竟厭恨這夜晚如此漫長？

In this stillness, all worldly ties cease,
My heart, like ashes, lets a thousand cares die.

Why then does the long night earn my weary sigh?
