河西地區的將領們氣概豪邁，仿佛能吞下整頭牛；
他們手持白羽箭、雕花弓，臂上套著錦繡的臂韝。
將來有一天，他們會成爲真正的僧人，只靠粥飯度日；
到了晚年，酒肉生活卻與氈裘戎裝混雜在一起。
宴席上坐著戴儒冠的文士，揮動著麈尾清談；
軍帳前，羌族士兵們正注視著刀頭的寒光。
吳地的帆檣和楚地的船舵，來自遙遠的江海；
此刻，我姑且倚靠著戍樓，悠閒地眺望雲霞。

White-feathered arrows, carved bows, brocade armguards on their arms.
In days to come, they'll be true monks, living on simple gruel and rice;
In their later years, wine and meat mingle with felt and fur.

Before the tent, the Qiang tribesmen watch the gleam of blades.
Wu masts and Chu rudders come from rivers and seas afar;
For now, I lean on the watchtower, gazing idly at the clouds.
