與書卷和香爐相伴，悠閒地度過了一整天，
雨後，庭院的石階周圍環繞著新綠的青苔。
又一個春天就這樣尋常地過去了，
誰知兩鬢的頭髮竟如此容易斑白。
輕薄的柳絮飄飛在芳草萋萋的岸邊，
淒涼的杜鵑啼叫在夕陽西下的山間。
我不嫌棄家境貧寒，只因有一雙飛燕，
依舊銜著泥土，自顧自地來來去去。

Books and incense burners idled away the day in leisure,
After rain, the courtyard steps are circled by fresh green's measure.
Another spring has passed in its ordinary way,
Who knows how easily at the temples the hair turns gray?
The frivolous willow catkins float by the fragrant grass shore,
The mournful cuckoo cries 'neath the sunset hill, sad and sore.
I don't mind my poverty, for a pair of swallows in flight
Still come and go, carrying mud, as ever, day and night.
