出門一看春草已長得一般齊整。
晚開的花朵還掛在樹上，
江水上漲快要與溪岸齊平。
山色昏暗時而有雨落下，
村落深處不知何處雞在啼鳴。
遠山究竟因爲什麼愁恨，
故意在人們身旁顯得低平。

Out the door, spring grass grows level and neat.
Late blossoms still cling to the branches asleep,
The river swells, about to flood the creek.
The mountain dusk brings occasional rain,
From deep villages, where do the cocks crow?

That it stoops low beside us, full of woe?
