花枝拂眼柳垂肩，幸得身閒且樂天。

huā zhī fú yǎn liǔ chuí jiān， xìng dé shēn xián qiě lè tiān。

木杪夕陽當反照，草頭朝露豈長圓。

mù miǎo xī yáng dāng fǎn zhào， cǎo tóu zhāo lù qǐ cháng yuán。

興來策杖雲迷徑，睡起憑欄月滿川。

白話文翻譯

花枝拂過眼前，柳條低垂到肩頭，

慶幸身體清閒，且能樂享天命。

樹梢的夕陽終將反射回光，

草尖的朝露豈能長久渾圓？

興致來時，拄著手杖，雲霧迷漫了小徑，

睡醒後憑欄遠望，月光灑滿河川。

老了，已不堪供世間使用，

只願將蕭散閒適度過剩餘的歲月。

Flower branches brush the eyes, willow strands droop by the shoulder,

Fortunate to have leisure and to find joy in heaven's grace.

Sunset at the treetop's tip should cast its light back, growing older,

Morning dew upon the grass—how can it long keep its round face?

When spirit moves, I take my staff, clouds hide the winding trail,

Awake, I lean on rails, the moon floods all the streams and vale.

Aged now, unfit for worldly use, I can but sigh,

And pass my fading years in carefree ease, beneath the sky.
