它高高地依偎在玉砌的台階旁，
枝葉繁茂，儘是美玉般的枝條。
雖然夜晚有璧玉般的明月照耀，
但金色的秋風在秋天吹拂得更甚。
在陳朝的宮殿裡，它只會引發歌詠；
在漢代的殿宇中，它只應喚起悲傷。
仿佛懷有對君主車駕的眷戀，
即使歲末嚴寒，也始終堅定不移。

Tall and straight, it leans against the jade steps;
Lush and dense, it's all adorned with jasper boughs.
Though the jade moon shines upon it in the night,
The autumn gilds the wind and blows yet more.
In Chen Palace, it could only inspire song;

As if it holds a lordly chariot's fondness,
Through winter's cold, it never will depart.
