水落山高，古老的渡口一片幽靜，
馬蹄輕快矯健，踏過溪流。
早晨趕路傍晚歇息，行程三千里，
敘說舊情逢遇新知，走過十個州。
厭倦了聽紛亂的蟬聲催促落日，
欣喜地看著黃菊點綴著殘秋。
我才能淺薄，對世間無所補益，
勉強奔走忙碌，只讓自己感到羞愧。

My horse's hooves, light and brisk, kick through the shallow stream.
From dawn to dusk, three thousand miles I've traveled on,
Meeting old friends and new across ten provinces.
Tired of hearing chaotic cicadas hasten the setting sun,
Glad to see yellow chrysanthemums aid the fading autumn.
Talentless, I bring no benefit to this world,
Forcing myself to rush about only brings me shame.
