陰雲瀰漫，與遠山齊平，
草木黯淡，花朵昏蒙，環繞著古城。
定是上天之心厭惡放縱的遊樂，
所以讓連綿的雨腳鎖住了清明時節。
誰知這靜謐的園圃深遠無極，
唯有幽居的鳥兒不停地鳴叫。
何況正值清明，歸去的旅人，
共舉酒杯談笑，別有一番悠長的情意。

Dark clouds spread out level with the hills,
Grass dims, flowers gloom, encircling the ancient town.
Surely Heaven's heart detests unrestrained roaming,
Thus locks the rain's feet upon the Clear and Bright.
Who knows the quiet garden's boundless depth?
Only the secluded birds ceaselessly sing.
Moreover, facing Clear and Bright, guests return home,
Sharing cups, talking and laughing, with lingering warmth.
