在山陽分別，已將近三十年了，
在鐵柱題寫姓名，也已過了十年。
聚散確實像浮萍追逐流水般不定，
光陰流逝，何止像離弦的箭那樣快。
你的高才尚未被任用，但你依然康健，
我如羽翼未豐，無意爭競，只求自我保全。
野鴨與鶴腿的長短有什麼值得計較，
既然相逢，就舉杯暢飲，姑且流連一番。

The crane's long legs, the duck's short ones—why compare?
