竹林里的廚房正在清洗玉盤，
隨即在叢竹中尋找新生的竹筍。
柔嫩的竹鞭剛剛折斷，泥土還溼漉漉的，
初生的筍殼包裹著，表面的苔蘚尚未乾透。
偶然保存下來的象牙筷子，樣式顯得短小；
瓊玉般的竹林才被拆開，便透出清冷的光輝。
爲何不暫且延緩進獻雕花酒杯的儀式，
將它們留在青翠的竹林里，供虎豹觀賞呢？

Amidst the bamboo grove, the kitchen cleans the jade plates,
Then promptly seeks fresh shoots among the clustered bamboos.
The tender whip just snapped, the mud still damp remains,
The young sheath newly wrapped, the moss not yet dried.
The ivory chopsticks, by chance preserved, show the pattern short;
The jade forest just split reveals a cold gleam.
Why not delay the offering of carved wine cups,
And leave them in the green woods for tigers and leopards to behold?
