吞吐著浪濤，噴湧著水波，身軀突兀地聳起。
你依憑著風與水勢，恣意地展現豪橫，
吞食魚蝦，把自己養得頗爲肥壯。
你的肉腥臊，骨頭堅硬，難以登上祭案，
即使有漁網羅致，人們也嫌棄而不願獲取。
江上雲霧瀰漫，江雨即將來臨，
這是天意要降下甘霖，與你並無干係。

Spouting waves, spewing foam, your body rises abrupt.
Relying on wind and water, you indulge in wild pride,
Devouring fish and shrimp, growing plump and satisfied.
Your flesh is rank, your bones too hard for the plate to bear,
Though nets may catch you, men disdain to take you there.
River clouds grow dense, the river rain begins to pour,
Heaven wills the downpour; it has nothing to do with your core.
