《晉王大令保母帖》的拓本已經殘損脫落。
我考辨文辭，這是大書法家王獻之的書跡。
筆意稍具《蘭亭序》的風貌。
其七種美妙之處，想來並非虛言。
有人驚異它雖有殘缺卻未遭毀壞，
有人懷疑它是集字而成的悲慨文字。
考證真僞固然可說是一種癖好，
訂正訛誤也未免顯得迂腐。
但看那墓穴中所藏之物，
清雅的玩賞品只有硯台和茶壺。
晉朝人擅長風流雅事，
自然與後世之人不同。
可惜還談論什麼定數，
占卜出八百多年的年壽。
堅貞的碑石日久也會風化剝蝕，
墓旁的雙松又能蔥鬱幾時？
爲何唯獨這片磚塊沒有朽化，
到如今卻遭逢耕鋤的厄運。
當初將它刻好埋入幽暗墓中，
本是要託身於荒蕪的丘墟。
誰知正因爲這個緣故，
反而誤導了後人的理解。
流傳於世難道是幸運嗎？
何況還遭到韓侂胄這樣的奸人玷汙。
辨別真僞更成了負累，
只供文人墨客戲謔談娛。
陶土之物尚且如此令人費解，
又何必用玉魚去殉葬呢？

The rubbing of the Stele of the Wet Nurse, by the Prince of Jin, is worn.
I examine the text, the great calligrapher's script.
It slightly resembles the style of the Orchid Pavilion Preface.
Its seven excellences are truly not empty praise.
Some marvel that its flaws were not destroyed,
Some suspect it's a collection of sorrowful lines.
To verify its authenticity is indeed an obsession,
To debate its falsity is also a folly.
But look at the treasures buried within the tomb:
Elegant objects, only an inkstone and a pot.
The men of Jin were masters of refined taste,
Surely different from later generations.
What's regrettable is the talk of numbers,
Divining a lifespan of over eight hundred years.
The steadfast stone will erode with time,
The twin pines will eventually wither.
Why has this single brick not turned to dust,
To now meet the misfortune of plough and hoe?
When it was first engraved and hidden deep,
It was meant to be entrusted to the desolate wilds.
Who knew that for this very reason,
It would instead mislead intentions so?
To be passed down through ages—is that truly fortune?
Especially when defiled by the wicked Han Tuo.
Discerning its origins becomes a further burden,
Merely providing amusement through words.
If even earthenware can be like this,
Why sacrifice jade fish as burial objects?
