半生攜書帶劍奔走於閩地與甌地，
三十年前就欠下了這次揚州之遊。
我赤誠之心依然尊崇魯國的風範，
而今白髮無力再為揚州寫下詩賦。
靴巷裡鮮花明豔，新開的集市熱鬧，
城角處野草幽暗，舊日的敵樓靜悄。
橋頭上再也尋不到何遜的蹤跡，
那明月與梅花，如今又是為誰而留？

For thirty years, this journey I have owed and never proved.
Barefoot, my heart still honors the land of Lu's ancient grace,
White-haired and frail, I lack the strength to sing of Yangzhou's face.
Flowers brighten Boot Lane's newly opened market fair,
Grass grows dark by the city wall, where old watchtowers stare.
On the bridge, no trace of He Xun can now be found,
For whom do plum blossoms and the bright moon linger around?
