我站在空曠的亭子北面，眺望著臨近的大江，
江對岸，晴日山嵐從低矮的山巒間升起。
此處的景色與齊山一樣，都是絕妙的詩篇，
我的氣量如同滄海，且讓我頻頻斟酌品味。
地勢高峻，宇宙萬象在雙眼前豁然開朗，
人已衰老，風霜侵蝕了兩鬢的髮絲。
感慨石頭城往日的功勳偉業已成舊事，
我如今閒居在夏口，身處幽深的峯巒之間。

From the north of the empty pavilion, I gaze upon the great river's edge,
Beyond the river, sunlit mists rise from the distant hills.
The scene, with Mount Qi, shares a song of peerless grace,
My capacity, like the vast sea, I often fill and taste.

Aged by wind and frost, my temples bear the marks of time.
Moved by the stone city's deeds of glory, now but old tales,
I dwell in Xiakou's depths, amidst the towering peaks.
