仿佛萬馬在空曠的山中交戰，
聲勢馳騁於天地宇宙之間。
窺望高處更覺雄健闊大，
對照勇者方怯於自己孱弱的容顏。
流水沖刷山石，千古不留痕跡，
招呼僧人一同度過這重關隘。
不知順流而下的平易之路，
與那逆流而上的艱辛何等相似。

Ten thousand steeds battle across the empty hills,
Their clamor races through the cosmos and the sky.
Peering at heights, one's vigor and resolve grows still,
Facing true courage, the timid visage turns shy.
The stones are washed, no trace of ages left behind,
I call a monk to pass this mountain gate with me.
Who knows if going with the stream is peace of mind?
How like the hardship of a flow reversed would be.
