在潮水漲落間，於船上告別姑蘇台，
歲月侵蝕著人，如同仙鶴換羽脫胎。
如今霜後果實可愛，映入眼帘，
佳人何時會問起我是否重來？
金色的果丸追逐著驚飛的禽肉，
白露凝聚成團，似離別的愁緒掛在腮邊。
再次等待扁舟落到我的手中，
爲你先通報柳郎即將回還。

Parting from Su Terrace by the tide, the boat sets sail;
Years pass, men age like cranes that molt and turn frail.
Now frost-touched fruits, a sight so dear, come into view;
When will the fair one ask if I return anew?
Golden pellets chase startled flesh in flight;
Dew-drops congeal parting grief on cheeks so white.
Again I wait till a small boat falls into my hand,
To send you word first: your Willow Lord returns to this land.
