旅途匆忙沒有時間停歇，
冒著暑熱攀登高峻的山巒。
微風不足以帶來涼意，
汗水浸溼了衣襟。
匆匆趕路，追逐著雲影，
已經翻過了另一座山的背陰面。
疲憊到極點，卻感覺山峰更高了，
繼續攀登已力不從心。
幽暗處的蟬鳴彷彿在慰勞我，
屢次發出悽楚的吟唱。

No time to rest upon my journey's track,
I brave the summer heat to climb the steep.
The gentle breeze brings little coolness back,
My sweat-drenched robe upon my skin does seep.
I hasten on, chasing the clouds' swift shade,
Already past the other mountain's side.
Exhausted, yet the summit seems delayed,
My climbing strength begins to subside.
The hidden cicadas seem to share my plight,
Their mournful chirps repeatedly take flight.
