白露洗淨了天空，銀河也顯得溼潤，
耳目晶瑩潔淨，沒有一絲塵埃。
秋聲漫溢到山澗山谷之外，
野外的景色湧入窗戶裡來。
心中多感，閒吟也顯得悽切婉轉；
為自己謀劃雖有策略，卻常常迂迴曲折。
傲然高視，超然於萬物之上，
對著菊花和濁酒，姑且一笑解懷。

White dew washes the sky, the River of Stars damp and clear,
Eyes and ears purified, not a mote of dust to be found.
The sounds of autumn overflow beyond the ravine and valley,
While wild hues burst in through the window and door.
Moved by many things, my idle chants turn mournful and soft;
For my own plans, I have strategies, yet they often wind and turn.
Proudly I gaze from above, beyond the realm of all things,
With yellow chrysanthemums and coarse wine, I merely share a laugh.
